Nashik entrepreneurs get marketing lessons – Times of India

NASHIK: Entrepreneurs got marketing lessons by experts during a special programme organised by the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MACCIA) recently. Around 60-70 entrepreneurs attended the session. The experts said that products should be consumer-oriented and with a better quality for long term business prospects. The topic was ‘the Marketing and new sales techniques.’ The objective of the programme was to encourage budding entrepreneurs in doing business.

Hemant Rathi, chairman of Rambandhu Masala Group and former MACCIA president, said, “One should understand what consumers want and this is a key to success of every business. In short, your product should be consumer-oriented, but with a excellent quality. Otherwise, you will get a success, but for very short time. Hence, good quality products with an attractive packaging are the major factors for the long-term success of any business.”

Rathi said, “Entrepreneur needs to have patience. Success does not happen in a single day as it is a long term process. It took years to Ratan Tata and Ambanis to emerge as large business houses. Proper rates and strong distribution networks lead you to the way to success.” Around 60-70 entrepreneurs attended a programme, which was held at the meeting hall of the MACCIA in the city.
