Really a really good game. Big time, as soon as I start it up I forget everything I am doing.

This is what you see when you have Apple Watch and not a good WiFi connection. Firstly, it’s a great title with an immersive world. Secondly, it’s designed for what Apple calls Digital Crown, which I don’t think is the same as the physical crown on Apple Watch. I’m forced to play by the time and don’t have any progress indicator at all. And for the third time, you have to start the game when your watch is at home and play it on watch out of battery.

    The Darkspore is an epic role playing game created by a single person.
    All crafting, lore, everything was done by me, and I spent two years doing it.
    This game is the result of many months of work, all to make a game that I can be proud of, and for which I can show my friends and family.
    I know this game has qualities that mark it out from the crowd, but I’m happy to let you play it and judge it for yourself.
    As I say at the start, I’m not a professional or anything, just a guy that makes his own stuff.
    I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy making it.

    Treble Hook made an awesome game this week and I knew I had to review it here. When I heard of this game I was worried that it was going to be one of those titles that made me groan when I started playing it, and would then be a game I could never get excited about the graphics or storyline enough to make it worth playing. Thankfully, that’s not the case for me.

    Welcome to the Darkspore. The story is about you travelling around the world in search of a bone with a special property known as a Darkspore, which you can use to travel between different levels and tear holes in the fabric of space and time, allowing you to travel to different times, places, universes, realms and dimensions, all controlled by you.

    The game starts off pretty well, with you learning about the Darkspore and how it works, before travelling to your first destination, the broken land of Ligature. On your travels you will encounter different mobs, which can be fought and killed. The more you kill, the more rewards you’ll receive.

    The crafting system is very detailed and features two recipes which you can make from any organic resource in the game, be it a tree or rock. Eventually you’ll be able to make items from crafted items, but for the first few hours of gameplay it will be better to make items from wood and stone. In the meantime you’ll need to find wood and stone, with missions like gathering too, in which you can either plant trees by using construction or gather them
