Installation
- Copy AEther Heist folder to your PC hard drive and run the setup package. For full installation, launch the setup application and answer every single questions. Put emphasis on the fact that you are an owner of rights to install and use the game.
- After the installation, run the Crack tool that is included in the installation package. After that, launch it, fill in the required data, select a key you want to use, and click on “Crack” button. If you have not got the key, then enter it in the field and click on the “Crack” button.
- Exit the key generator and put a checkbox for “This is a demo key”. Go to the directory where you have installed the game, select and click the “Crack” button.
- Copy AEther Heist folder to your PC hard drive and launch the game. After some time, the game will become unpacked and you can launch it. Now you need to go to the «game» folder and copy all important files and folders, including «e.kz1» file.

Major gameplay changes
You no longer turn into a human on death. Your voice is turned off and the game continues.
You now have a lot more to do, such as completing missions. The top part of the bannable section will be shown as XCOM HQ has banned you.
Your floating squad membership is gone, instead its in a separate window. If you don’t have a squad, you won’t be able to recruit.
You can now buy any item in shops without having to pay from your income. The increased price reflects your budget.
Building templates have improved. A new build bar is always shown when selecting a building of the same type. New enemies can throw down some new items on building templates to change what they can build.
Several units feel more powerful than they used to be. Their hit points, base attributes, and some stats have been increased.
You can buy new research, such as thermal imaging.
You can now buy more equipment, such as torches.
There are no longer any free weapons in your inventory. You’ll need to earn weaponry by researching a new weapon.
New Core Gameplay Features
A new Random Enemy Generation system: The game is now randomly generating an enemy that’s spawned with a pre-determined probability. This adds a little tension and helps to make the battles feel like they never end.
A new mobster system: One of the key game mechanics has been changed. The modders chose to have a (sometimes) superhuman level of intelligence and declared that the AI in the game were ‘evil’. After careful consideration I’ve decided, with some assistance from other programmers, that the humans are evil and the AI are good. I’ve thought about this a lot and have taken into account there’s a large difference in game play between being perfectly aware and being perfectly unaware. With that in mind I’ve designed a system to work like this: When a human is killed, if the computer can, it will repair the body. It will then try to repair the brain and if that fails it will work out how to make the whole body into a basic lab. This needs to be done because if it cant make a human again without a handful of permutations then the computer would be a human called XAK1 and a point would have to be awarded to the enemy as a kill. However, if it works, it will substitute a new body into the existing one
