Mecha Knights: Nightmare is a retro-styled, SciFi Mech game. A full campaign spanning 15+ hours of exciting gameplay, battling hordes of fierce enemies, and following a SciFi narrative.
Mech:
Choose from several different kinds of Mechs, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Depending on what you chose, it may be able to be used to do various things, such as move quickly through terrain, or carry an arsenal of weapons and ordinance for a sustained battle.
Enemies:
Fight human enemies and colossal monsters from all over the world. Each enemy is unique, and their attacks are designed to keep you on your toes, and forcing you to adapt to your enemy’s tactics and movements. As you progress, you will encounter a wider variety of creatures – from the grotesque and monstrous, to the bizarre, mutated and alien.
Side Quests:
As you complete missions, you will be rewarded with a handful of weapons and tools to experiment with – allowing you to customize your Mobile Armour.
Game Modes:
As you play, you will advance to new levels and gain in rank. Level-ups grant you the ability to gain new technologies to help you progress.
Conquer a region, and go on missions with your allies to take down the enemy, or choose to go on solo missions to take out your enemies all by yourself.
Plot:
When a series of mysterious happenings first begins to occur, the world is plunged into a conflict it was never prepared for. The once peaceful Earth is now plagued by relentless monsters and fierce enemies, and it is up to a small group of pilots to fight back. All of humanity is at stake.
Features:
Play as a whole new class of pilot, and battle aliens and humans alike in a series of 15 or more game-play missions.
Build your own Mobile Armors using over 20 weapons and modules, including high-power energy guns.
Battle hordes of enemies in a wide array of large-scale missions. You will gain new missions as you progress through the game.
Surprisingly good music and sound effects.
Deep mech customization. You can change the mech’s color, design and even equip different parts!
A mostly linear story, but with a number of optional side quests to do as you play.

Very nice game. Yes the main concept is very close to the Amnesia series, but is still unique enough to be its own. It is dark and can be scary at times, but overall it was a very good way to pass the time. (PSN)

Decent

This is a decent game. I like the first two levels of the game where the layout is familiar and things aren’t too difficult. The third level, however, is pretty hard. I ended up giving up. (PS3)

Great Game!

When you read the description you might think the game is similar to the game Amnesia. And you would be right. However, the game is almost a different style. The visuals are dark and the atmosphere is spooky. But in reality, this is a nice escape from reality. (PC)

Fantastic

The concept of this game is incredibly interesting. Amnesia games were one of my favorite games to play back in the day and I was intrigued by the concept of a game with the story of house. This game has very nice graphics, which are quite dark and unique. As a horror game I give it a 4.5/5, but would recommend it to people who want a horror game and aren’t too tired of the ones we’ve already had in the past (like Amnesia). (PC)

A really great game, but it can’t get any more than 8/10.

Amnesia came out in 2007 and introduced a whole new world of horror games.
This game is more difficult, and could even be a bit scary at times.
But it’s still really fun. The graphics are good, as the lighting is pretty good, and not to mention the main protagonist’s weird voice and appearance. (PSN)

This is one of the best and most underrated horror games I’ve ever played.
