AutoCAD is available for many platforms, including Apple macOS, Linux, Microsoft Windows, FreeBSD and various embedded operating systems. It supports most types of computer-aided drafting (CAD) platforms, including 3D models and “paperless” drawings. Autodesk also offers AutoCAD LT, a free 32-bit, x86 CAD product for small businesses, teams and students. AutoCAD LT was released in August 2000 and was a development and testing platform for future versions of AutoCAD. Like AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT can be used in a networked environment.
AutoCAD LT has more limited features and is intended for use in a local network only. AutoCAD LT is compatible with older AutoCAD releases, and supports a one-time registration fee for licensing. History
AutoCAD was originally intended for use on minicomputers (such as the IBM PC family). The first release of AutoCAD, in 1982, was for the System/36 and System/370, and included only line and arc capabilities. The first release to feature three-dimensional (3D) features was AutoCAD for Windows, released in May 1986. AutoCAD for Windows is compatible with AutoCAD on the IBM PC. AutoCAD for Windows has a user interface similar to that of a regular desktop word processor, and includes additional features such as BOM, block lists, variable block, shared libraries, and the ability to view multiple files at once.
AutoCAD was originally licensed for use on a specific type of computer, and required a license from Autodesk every time the software was updated. It was traditionally a desktop product, which required a licensed user to work at a computer running the software.
AutoCAD LT is compatible with AutoCAD LT releases prior to 2010. In 2010, AutoCAD LT was replaced with AutoCAD for Mac OS. AutoCAD LT was designed to be used in a local network, and was compatible only with AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT releases prior to 2010.

AutoCAD is developed by Autodesk as a commercial CAD software. The first AutoCAD was released in 1989, and a year later it was adopted by CAD managers at the NBS in the United States. The name of the program was changed to AutoCAD in 1993 when Autodesk acquired Alias (a consulting firm).
AutoCAD for Windows was first released in October 1992. In August 1993, an Autodesk A-License was required to obtain AutoCAD and the related products.
The programs rely heavily on the commands and keystroke combinations set by the user for interaction. When AutoCAD was first released, many of the commands could not be changed, and the control scheme was originally very similar to that of a mouse-driven program. The changes in the command set and control scheme were made progressively over the first few releases.
AutoCAD LT, developed by Autodesk, is a stripped down version of AutoCAD and it was released in 1996.

Is there a reasonable way to test a static method?
I’m using a number of static classes and methods, but not all of them use this same set of logic. I want to be able to do unit tests of certain static methods that I would put into a separate unit test class, but I would have to write tests for methods that look nothing like what I’m writing.
The methods usually look something like this:

A static method does not have access to the instance fields of the class on which it is called. You can’t mock static methods.
There are two approaches I can think of that might work for you:
Mock the class that the method is in. Instead of calling the method you just create a new class with the method you want to test in it.
If the method is a factory method, make it private. Then have another method in the class that returns the class you want.
This means that the class can only be tested from the class that contains it, but at least you can mock that class (and mock the factory method).
In some languages this is also done by generating a proxy class, so that the call to the method returns a test-dedicated class. I don’t know any languages that do this with Java, so you have to make your own.
