This game is the first of Studio Gamaii’s upcoming titles. Sweet Seasons is a puzzle game where you have to clear the board of tiles within a set amount of moves.
What Are The Tiles?
Tiles come in four different shapes: Square, Round, Octagon and Triangle. Each type has its own set of features:
– Square: While the square tile can be both used for clearing tiles and movement, the four points on its corners are also used for movement on the board.
– Round: The round tile is used for clearing tiles.
– Octagon: Octagons’ axes can also be used for movement on the board.
– Triangle: The triangle tile can move one point in any direction.
Which Tiles Can I Use?
Unlike other games, Sweet Seasons can be played with all tiles. Some tiles have advantages and disadvantages though. The round and square tiles are used to clear tiles.
What Are The Game Rules?
The round tile can only be used to clear tiles. The triangle is used for movement.
The effect and order of movement of tiles by different types of tiles is as follows:
– Square
– Round
– Octagon
– Triangle
Are There Any ‘Bonus’ Tiles?
There are many bonuses tiles as well as normal tiles. Some of the bonuses include a row of X’s (to help you add X’s to the board), 1-26 (to help you find the required amount of cleared tiles), a selection of images, a color filter (to remove a color from the tiles) and a flower pot (to give the tile an effect).
Is There a ‘Hint’ Key?
The ‘Hint’ key can be seen in the bottom-right corner. When pressed, it will give you a hint on how you can continue on with the game.
What Are The Options?
The options option is located on the top right side of the game, as seen in the image. When selected, the ‘help’ button will be replaced by the options.
If you want to see more info about the tile you’re using, press the ‘T’ key, where ‘T’ is located in the top-left corner.

    I might add more elaborate features later but I am new to coding and the game is still under development, thus, any help is appreciated.

    A:

    The main piece of change you want to make, is to stop starting the calculation on release of the button. However, the button change seems to have destroyed your API calls, so I have removed that.
    Instead, I replaced the button’s javascript with javascript that runs an external function on a timer. This is the somewhat messy code that does it. The meat of the code is the:
    if (myFloor >= mySpriteArray.length) {

    line.
    This would check whether an array floor number will exceed the length of the floor array. If it does, then it starts the timer. Since the timer will run once a second, that means that the game should be over if it has ran for 10 seconds. To avoid any ambiguities, I added the constant 1000 to show you a second has elapsed.
    this.minitTimer = setInterval(this.minit_asdf,1000);

    You should probably add a function to stop the timer but to get the game working the timer needs to be running.

    You should probably stop the timer first. I have removed this from the answer so that you can run the code as is without any worry.
    The key points to address are as follows.

    You need to change the floor number to reflect the full floor array instead of asking what its value is of the array.
    You need to change this:
    if (myFloor >= mySpriteArray.length) {

    to this:
    if (myFloor!== (mySpriteArray.length – 1)) {

    Since this is if (myFloor >= mySpriteArray.length), it always evaluates to true. So everything runs through.
    So the floor value is not used and you should remove it. And the floor value should not be over the total amount of sprites in the array, because as you are currently doing, the game will never end.
